Folk Dance (Sambalpuri, Bihu, Garba, Ghoomar) Classes
in Cuttack
Sambalpuri, Bihu, Garba and Ghoomar — the dances of festival and community.

About the Course
Folk dances like Sambalpuri, Bihu, Garba, and Ghoomar celebrate India's vibrant traditions. Rooted in festivals and community joy, they bring energy, togetherness, and cultural pride.
Folk dance is learned in a group and performed in a group. Sambalpuri comes from western Odisha and is the form our students ask for most often; Bihu belongs to Assam, Garba and Ghoomar to Gujarat and Rajasthan. Each has its own rhythm, costume and occasion, and all of them are built for energy rather than precision, which makes them immediately enjoyable to learn.
